Bio
I am a well-established guitarist based in Melbourne with over 10 years of experience playing guitar. I have been teaching guitarists and musicians from all around Australia and the world for over 5 years and I am looking to take on more students.
I teach all styles of music such as pop, contemporary, jazz, metal, prog, shred, fusion, and rock.
Lessons are for all ages, from complete beginners to advanced level musicians looking to continue expanding their skills.
From years of practice and teaching, I have established the best way to approach learning guitar avoiding any unnecessary or outdated methods for making progress quickly.
I offer lessons on all aspects of music not just limited to guitar playing and technique.
Below is a list of what I offer lessons on.
- Guitar – Playing, techniques, theory, performing, improvisation.
- Music Theory – Ear training, sight reading, intervals, scales, chords, modes.
- Song Writing/Composition – Techniques, methods, compositional tools.
- Improvisation – Soloing in different styles/genres, soloing in different keys and modes.
- Recording – Tracking guitar part, using recording software.
- Transcription – Transcribing by ear, creating notation/TABs, working out songs by ear.
- Recording – recording techniques in DAWs, tone creation, mixing and other production techniques
VCE Music and Bachelor of Music students – I have a Bachelor of Music degree and I have also completed VCE music. If you are currently in VCE or undertaking Music at University, I am more than able to help you with any part of the work you need help with.
I teach all lessons online via Discord. I have professional music studio setup and lessons are taught with multiple cameras to get the best result from each one. Lessons are open to anyone nation or worldwide.
I offer a trial lesson for anyone interested in taking up lessons. This helps to discuss what your goals, interests and ambitions are with guitar before getting started.

Teaching Info
Any student who takes lessons with me can expect high quality and productive sessions with material prepared before lessons begin.
Sessions will be planned out ahead in order to get the maximum benefit from each lesson. Students are advised to send material and things they might like to learn ahead of time.
Any material worked on in lessons will be presented in a professional format and provided to students at the end of each lesson, along with practice notes.
Students are also encouraged to send me videos, recordings, or questions between lessons if necessary to ensure lesson material is being worked on correctly and not have to wait a week for an asnwer!
