Bio
I’ve been playing bass guitar for 13 years, having recently graduated from Melbourne University ( Victorian College of the Arts) with a Bachelors of Music, Jazz and Improvisation.
Professionally I play in a range of groups, including running a corporate jazz trio, wedding and cover bands, Indi original music and experience in Musical Theatre orchestras.
I have been teacher for 3 years both privately and through a tuition school, with a range of age groups, skill levels and educational needs. I have experience taking students through any style or technical requirement, including slap, pick work, tapping or preparation for VCE performance exams.
I pride myself on maintaining a fun and engaging learning environment and keeping open and honest communication between myself and students. Personally, my goal is to share the joy that I find in exploring music with others through sharing my knowledge, and equipping my students with the skills play, compose and understand anything and everything that interests them.

In my lessons I really enjoy building a strong theoretical and technical base to allow you to learn what you’re interested in. I endeavour to help my students explore what they want to and help them find satisfaction in their own musical experience, so I try to structure each and every lesson individually and tailor the content to what you personally find interesting and want to learn.
