Teaching Info

My classes are tailored to meet each individual’s needs and interests, with the goal to make students feel connected, inspired and passionate about their musical pursuits.

For piano and theory I have an extensive background in classical music, whereas for voice I offer a more contemporary approach, having spent many years as a vocal topliner, songwriter and recording artist.

PIANO:

Lessons include applicable music theory, sight reading, aural studies and technical studies to ensure that you have an in-depth and holistic musical education. I cater for all ages and goals, and customise curriculum based on whether you wish to pursue AMEB examinations, or simply learn the piano for fun.

VOICE:

I specialise in contemporary genres such as pop, electronic, RnB, folk, rock and neo-soul, and sessions focus on a range of areas from vocal technique, vocal tone, live performance, microphone technique, songwriting and artist development.

For vocalists interested in learning about the fundamentals of music theory and reading music, this can also be included.
