Hello!

I have been teaching since 1993 and offer singing and piano lessons.

I have a passion for helping people open up to the world of music, including learning to read music. I teach students from the age of 4 to 84.

Eltham lessons are held at my place, Ivanhoe and surrounds are home visits.

I have helped students be successful in their VCE studies, Tafe & University entrances, as well as for recreation.
Piano lessons can start from the age of 4.
Singing lessons may start from the age of 10.

Lessons are tailored to student needs and are delivered in a fun and friendly environment.

Teaching Info

My teaching style is based on note reading, that then lends itself to all styles of music. Students are taught sound practice habits to enable them to include their music studies into their busy lives.

My aim is to be flexible while still achieving progress. I am open to students discussing their needs and issues with me to enable to reach their goals.

Exams are available to those who wish in piano and theory.

All students are encouraged at some point to start learning music notation/theory to support there progress.

Lessons usually involve working through tutor books until they are ready to consider their own styles of music.
