Bio

Emily has completed a Bachelor of Music from Monash University, Honours in Music performance from the University of Melbourne and is currently completing her Masters of Music Performance also at Melbourne University.
After completing her Music qualifications Emily endeavours to complete a Masters of Teaching to compliment her music skills.
She has been playing French Horn for 8 years and was playing Trumpet for 5 years before that.
Emily performs frequently in community orchestras such as Zelman Symphony, Australian and Asian Symphony and has toured China twice with the Australian International Opera Company as well as performing casually in amateur musical productions around Melbourne.
She has had the privilege of learning from Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s principle third horn Saul Lewis for 5 years.


Teaching Info

Emily has taught privately for many years, including adult, children and high school aged students. She also worked as the French Horn instrumental teacher at Bentleigh Secondary College for 2 years which included school camps, concerts, private and group lessons as well as report writing and preparation for exams.
