Teaching Info

My approach to music teaching is friendly and relaxed yet enthusiastic in order to keep students engaged. When structuring a lesson, I always take the student’s musical aspirations/interests into consideration however I do have a firm belief in the importance of technical and aural proficiency. I ensure lessons are fun and inspiring but also informative and work towards becoming the most versatile and proficient musician they can be.

As I have been fortunate enough to teach students of a variety of ages, I have been able to gain experience in preparing students undertaking a range of AMEB examinations. As I have also taught secondary-aged students, I have gained experience in preparing them for their performance exams whilst also ensuring that they learn a broad range of repertoire.
