Bio

Music in Mind is a music school which allows you to have the highest quality music lessons in the comfort and privacy of your home. Comprised of a group of passionate musicians who came together with the idea of creating a new music learning experience, we realised that bringing music lessons to your home makes for more comfortable, convenient and productive lessons.

Like most of the great and valuable things in life, there is no shortcut to the mastery of musical ability. One must be patient, determined, and truly passionate about the subject. In this way, your musical journey will be rewarding and fulfilling. The world that awaits you is vast and rich – we look forward to helping you along the way.

Teaching Info

All of our teachers are professional musicians and educators, having studied music and education at a tertiary level. What makes us different to many other schools is that all of our teachers have studied at Conservatorium and are world-class active performers. We’re not just teachers nor just musicians, we’re both. We know what it takes to be great and we know how to communicate it.

We tailor all of our lessons to the individual, meaning we assess not only what your personal tastes in music are, but also the ways in which you learn best, and prepare lessons and material accordingly. We utilise technology to make learning music more fun, and will guide you on the right path to achieve your musical goals. In contrast to today’s world of disposable products and impersonal relations, we feel the teacher/student bond to be of prime importance on the road of musical development. This is central to our philosophy, and we encourage you to make the most of it.
