I have been teaching drums for over 10 years to students aged from 6 to 60 from beginner to advanced levels. I have taught in various establishments including private schools, music stores and local community music schools.
I completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Music degree at Southern Cross University in Lismore NSW in 2012 before I moved to Melbourne in 2013 to further my teaching and performing career.
I am currently endorsed by some great drumming companies such as Ludwig Drums, Promark Drumsticks and Evans Drumheads. I am proud to use these brands and I’m always grateful for their support of my drumming career.
I have studied under great teachers such as Dave Sanders, Scott Hills, David Jones, Gordon Rytmeister and Dom Famularo.

My approach to teaching is to create a fun and exciting atmosphere to get students involved in the learning process and achieve real results.
I teach students not only how to play their instrument but also valuable skills needed to listen, communicate and play with other musicians. I have a wealth of resources to draw from that will help guide every student in their chosen direction. Whether my students are kids wanting to jam with their mates or adults looking to take their playing to the next level, I cater lessons to students’ individual needs.
I always encourage students to document their progress with a practice log to document their development. My home studio has recording facilities that can be used to record lessons with professional quality equipment.
I am a staff member at Beaconhills College in Pakenham where I teach drums 3 days a week with students ranging from primary school level through to VCE level. I live in Preston and am available to provide drum lessons at my home studio as well travelling to your home if you live in the local area.
I also work with a local business called Positive Music that delivers fun, engaging drum workshops for clients of all ages and occupations. I always get extreme satisfaction from seeing people learn new skills and discover their voice on the instrument.
